What is this?

1°) Maths as a structural law

Maths are unconsciously felt a good instrument object aimed at keeping order as much outwards as incoards of oneself "sensible raisoning" i.e. no nonsense. Maths are in such case instrumental to tackle scary personal impulses. They mean a personal equilibrium.

2°) Maths object considered as tools

(Refer to example: a teacher)

Maths are claimed to be a tool with an impact on the real world (e.g. physies). They enable constructions in the reality but equally in oneself, they mend wath is missing.

-In both cases Maths are felt as having an impact on an individual's outside (a projection from inside) i.e. in reality.

 

3°) Maths as an ideal object.

(Refer to exemple : a teacher)

Maths are considered as an ideal object.Perfect raisoning, the truth, out of maths no salvation. Every thing should be maths, related, and although not yet an achieved fact, it is just a matter of time. In such instance maths are the individual's miror .

4°) Maths seen as another world

(Refer to example of an teacher)

Maths belong to another world, where life is cosy, where the real world is too tough. Maths make an oblivion of the actual world, as if you were in a cocoon. In such case they are good and bad, therefore a divide between a good and a bad object..

5°) Maths felt as a bad object

(Refer to the example: a student)

Maths are considered a bad thing, a means of selection, a basis of failure, learding possibly to insanity. They lead the subject to project on them part of one's worries.

-In these letter two cases, maths may be felt as being far from reality.

 

6°) Maths as an object of phobie

(Refer to the example : a student)

Maths are endowed with every virtue, they are coveted, but they frighten, or are seen untenables.

-Maths as another world, ideal object, structural law

have in any case an inward impact on individuals

-Maths as a bad object, object of phobie or tool

are seen as purely outward situation to individuals.
